One of the country’s first homestagers, Diane Keyes has been bringing
her innovative approach to her home staging career and the real estate
industry for more than twenty years.
Her unique talents have brought her to four-star restaurants,
multi-million-dollar island get-aways, and thousands of private homes.
And when they needed someone to prepare the state mansion for
the Swedish royal family the governor’s wife called Diane.
She first began teaching home staging classes in 1988 and has since taught
her staging techniques to many realtors seeking to fulfill their continuing
education requirements.
Along with consummate staging advice, Diane brings understanding and
insight
to the complex psychological issues surrounding the sale of a home,
a much ignored but vitally important facet of real estate sales.
Bringing together her years of experience staging homes for sale and her
writing ability, Diane has written This Sold House, a do-it-yourself home
staging guide designed to teach the average homeowner how to stage a home
to sell quickly with the least amount of money, time and effort. This Sold House has been endorsed by Joan Steffend host of HGTV’s Decorating Cents and
is already considered the ultimate source of staging information by
many
realtors and homeowners alike.
Also an accomplished author, Diane’s children’s book,
Spirit of
the
Snowpeople was released by Down East Books last fall and sold out
the first printing
less than three weeks after its publication date. It is now
in
its third printing.
Ms. Keyes lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with
her husband Tom,
their married children, and her new grandson, Vin.
